Unshackled Spirit
My heart was once a captive, chained and confined
A prisoner of fear, with dreams left behind
But then came the dawn, of a brand new day
And with it, a courage, that chased the shadows away
The chains that bound me, were broken and worn
As I spread my wings, and let my spirit soar
No longer held back, by the weights that I bore
I rose up, unshackled, and let my true self explore
With every step forward, I felt my soul take flight
Unfettered and free, in the light of new sight
The world, once a prison, became a canvas so grand
As I painted my story, with an unshackled hand
My spirit, now untamed, roams wild and free
A force of nature, that cannot be tamed by sea
It dances on winds, and sings in the rain
A melody of hope, that echoes across the plain
I am the master, of my own destiny
An unshackled spirit, that's finally free to be
Me.
