Unsettling Love

A glance too long, a touch too light,
A warmth that fades into the night.
It pulls me close, then drifts away,
A game of shadows, night and day.

I feel the thrill, the chill, the spark,
A restless flame within the dark.
Each whisper holds a hidden fear,
A haunting love that’s far, yet near.

Your words, they dance like autumn leaves,
A promise made, a heart that grieves.
I search for truth in tangled lines,
In silent clues and secret signs.

I’m drawn to you, yet filled with doubt,
A labyrinth I can’t break out.
For in this love, there’s something strange,
A beauty dark, a subtle change.

Unsettling love, you cast your spell,
A bittersweet, familiar hell.
I hold on tight, yet feel the pull,
This love, a mystery never full.
