Dancing with ghosts

Freedom at last
I used to feel haunted
Like no-one was there
Now I prefer it
Truth is a dare
Reading and writing
Where I reside
When the world is against me
The places I hide
Mirror reflection
A much younger me
Creating her hero
The girl that I see
Badass and brave
Classy and sweet
INTELLECTUAL NERD
Smart on the street
Style on point
A sweetheart, a savage
Walking fine lines
At least I’m not average
Loving myself
And all of my scars
Talking with moon,
And all of the stars
Learning a language
One that’s inspired
‘My future hero’
That line is so fire
Queen of the Castle
Aura magnetic
Energy sizzle
Downright eccentric
I hope that your reading
Decoding my rhyme
Words from the past
The place and the time
Speaking a way,
That you understand
Vibing to music
Lovelytheband
Connected by fate
An agreement of past
Contracts completed
Times goes so fast
Light in the dark
Finding your way
Reading these words
Counting the days
Dreaming the future
Making peace with the past
Closing this chapter
Speaking at last
Words left unsaid
Things you wanted to say
Some reached my dreams
Some reached my days
Art is experience
Things that inspire
Rewriting the plot
Fulfilling desires
No longer haunted
No longer the same
No playing small
I’m changing the game
Voice of the wise
Voice of a foe
Voice of a friend
From long ago
Oceans run deep
Rivers of time
I’m going to let you
