In the kingdom of love, a quirky affair,

A tale of unrequited love, if you dare.

In the realm of romance, a whimsical twist,

Where the heart's a comedian, but the punchline's missed.

In the moonlit garden of hopeful desire,

A one-sided love sets the heart on fire.

The cupid's arrow took a detour, it seems,

Left the lover enchanted with unfulfilled dreams.

A comedy of errors in the language of glances,

But the other's dictionary? It's all in trances.

Eyes meet, but the conversation's absurd,

Like a stand-up routine with a silent punchword.

In this sitcom of the heart, the script is askew,

One's a comedian, the other, who knew?

A love letter written in jest and jest alone,

The punchline delivered in a silent, lonely groan.

Yet, in laughter and tears, the heart finds its measure,

A comedic tragedy, a peculiar pleasure.

For in unrequited love, the joke's on the heart,

A sitcom romance, where the humor's the art.
