Unplaced Love, Spilling Over

Day 35/365

By Ellie HoovsPublished 12 months ago 1 min read

I wonder longingly

a mind wrapped in revery

wearing saudade like a sweater

my homeless heart

filling up a shopping cart

with the broken pieces of

shattered promises of redamancy

until it overflows

like a river

and washes dreams away

What a sad poem, and I hope you aren't talking about yourself. Very nice words but yet so very sad. Well Done!!!
