Uniquely you

As I see the pain I see blue,

But it don’t just effects you it affects me too,

As I see the judgement I see red,

From the anger arising from what harsh people did and said,

As the ups and downs hit it is all a vivid yellow,

Because some days you triumph and other days you take a hard blow,

Be whatever you want to be is what I see in purple,

Because being uniquely you is pretty cool,

Exploring who you are is what I see in orange,

Be bold and be you who cares what they “warn”,

Because though some are lgbtq and others are straight,

There is no room to be mean and hate,

Us standing up for each other and supporting one another is all I see in green,

It’s not two separate groups we all are one team,

So that is what the true colors of pride fully means,

You take the pain the judgement the highs and lows the coolness and boldness,
