Under the Weight of Stars

A love that bends time and space, yet finds its home in a fleeting moment.

I met you in a quiet place,

Where light and shadow intertwined,

A space between the hours,

Where the world seemed to unwind.

Your eyes, two distant galaxies,

Spinning with a secret flame,

A universe unspoken,

Yet I knew you felt the same.

There was no rush, no need to speak,

The silence wrapped us in its grace,

Your hand brushed mine so casually,

As if our souls had found their place.

Beneath the weight of countless stars,

Where worlds collide and stars are born,

We stood together, small and vast,

Our hearts are in tune, our minds reborn.

You asked me once, "What do you feel?"

I answered softly, with a trembling voice,

"I feel the pull, the quiet pull,

Of something deep, something choice."

And in that moment, time stood still,

The past and future lost their hold,

The seconds stretched like molten gold,

While we stood there, daring, bold.

The sky above began to hum,

A song of love, of ancient lore,

A rhythm found in whispered winds,

As if the earth itself implored,

That we embrace what’s always known—

That love, though fleeting, leaves its trace,

Carved in the air, in skin, in bone,

A mark no time can erase.

You laughed, a sound like soft spring rain,

And in your eyes, I saw the years—

The joy, the sorrow, the hope, the pain,

The laughter shared the unshed tears.

A thousand lifetimes lived in one,

A thousand moments we could claim,

Yet here we were, beneath the sun,

As if we’d always been the same.

But love is never simple, no—

It stretches thin, it pulls, it frays,

And sometimes it is just a spark,

A fleeting touch in passing days.

And still, I know, it’s something real,

A thing that doesn’t need to last,

To leave its mark, to deeply feel—

For what we are will never pass.

So here we stand, beneath the sky,

Our hands are still linked, though worlds apart,

Under the weight of endless stars,

You hold me deep within your heart.

Unfettered by time or worldly ties,

We’re free to twirl in the warmth of light,

Our love needs no words to clarify,

In this moment, we know we belong.
