Under the Surface Mental Health And Anxiety

They don’t see the weight I carry

how quiet it presses on my bones

Not loud, not crying out

just a dark tide pulling under

I don’t ask for light

don’t look for saving hands

I hold the storm inside

tight and cold

waiting for no one

This is the silence that screams

the heavy pause between breaths

where strength isn’t loud

but carved in stone

unmoving, unbroken

No soft words soften this shape

no easy roads lead through

Only the hard ground beneath my feet

and the cold sky above

I walk alone in this space

where shadows gather like old truths

And I carry the weight of the world

without breaking or bending

But beneath this stone wall

the cracks start to show

The quiet grows louder

a voice without a face

It speaks in restless nights

in hands that tremble unseen

in smiles forced and fading

in battles fought alone

Strength isn’t only stone

sometimes it’s asking for air

holding on when the silence

threatens to swallow whole

This weight is real and heavy

but so is the fight inside

and even the darkest tides

can learn to ebb and flow.
