Under the Christmas Moon

Dreams wrapped in red

Under the Christmas Moon, dreams wrapped in red

We’re beneath the covers of our warm, toasty bed

Like the Christmas star, hope glows

Melting the love that distance froze

Rejoice in the return of long-lost peace

All the anger, all the pain, let it release

Threadbare love new again like freshly fallen snow

Lighting us up like a Christmas tree, we’re all aglow

Under the Christmas Moon, wishes wrapped in green

Whispering snow, floating to earth, so lovely, so serene

Beneath the mistletoe, the magic of lips first greeting

Silver bells ringing in celebration of true love finally meeting

As sweet as a candy cane, she has thawed his frosty reserve

A ribbon wrapped gift, opened before he lost his nerve

Hearts joined in a jolly song, born on Christmas day

Under the Christmas moon, a new couple on a sleigh
