In a world of labels, we tend to reside,
Defining souls by choices, where paths divide.
A dropout, they say, for leaving school's embrace,
Or sober, they proclaim, for drugs they erase.
But why must we label, a definitive line,
When endings disclaim a perfect redefine?
Can't one simply cease, without a name or tag,
No longer bound by thorns that used to snag?
One day, a barman chose to bid chains a farewell,
No longer pulled by an enchanting spell.
No longer craving its side effects, its lure,
Breaking free from its hold, his spirit pure.
Yet, the judgments rain, from society's crowd,
Friends and foes alike, their voices loud.
Screaming it's impossible to sway a stereotype.
Forever stained by the ink of an addictive archetype.
Why can't we embrace liberation in our society,
Let go of the need for definitive piety?
Release the chains of labels, let freedom ring,
Accepting that choices don't define everything.
Let us be individuals, unburdened by a name,
No longer trapped in society's labeling game.
For in my domain of possibilities, we'll find,
A world where true acceptance is Unconfined.
