Courage, a virtue that's hard to find

A trait that sets the brave apart from all

To face the fears that make the weak ones fall

It's not the absence of fear that's brave

But the ability to push through it all

To stand up tall, and not be a slave

To doubt and worry, and let them take the fall

It's facing death, with honor and with pride

It's standing up, when others choose to flee

It's doing what's right, with courage as your guide

And knowing, that you'll make a difference, be it small or big.
