Unclaimed Verses

A Poem of Hope and Beauty

By thamee 16Published 3 years ago 1 min read

With ink and paper I shall compose,

A poem without a claim of prose,

To be shared with all who wish to read,

Without restriction or fee to heed.

My words will dance upon the page,

Like wind through fields of golden sage,

They'll sing a song of joy and pain,

Of love and loss, of sunshine and rain.

I'll weave a tale with gentle art,

Of aching heart and broken heart,

And in each line you'll find a spark,

Of hope and beauty in the dark.

So take my words and make them yours,

Let them fill your soul and open doors,

To new horizons and endless skies,

And know that love will never die.

For this poem is a gift to all,

To answer to the heart's sweet call,

And as it flows from pen to hand,

May it light up the world, like sun on sand.
