Beneath my tiny childish feet,
I feel the earth, thin, cracked, trembling into stillness
Like it's not supposed to be here.
Is all this shame surreal?
A bridge sways in the jungle, close by
The wilderness screams: hesitant and dire,
My trembling fears all bundled in a bouquet of shards,
My heart feels cut into thin pieces of eternity,
Until my old safely kept doubts slip from my hands,
And suddenly I see the light, piercing through the fog inside,
And then I pause, chanting "ohm" I stand and release,
I'm only a breath away from making the choice,
To move once more forward, unbound, unflinchingly so.
