[ Unapologetically Human ]
Imperfect, flawed, and incomplete,
We're only human, it's no defeat,
Our senses guide us through each day,
Let's celebrate them in every way.
Our eyes, they see the beauty around,
But also the flaws that we have found,
Let's not hide them, let's embrace,
They make us unique, a special case.
Our ears, they hear both praise and critique,
But they also listen when others speak,
Let's not apologize for what we hear,
Let's use it to grow and to steer.
Our skin, it feels both soft and rough,
But also the times when it's tough,
Let's not cover it up with shame,
Let's feel the touch and own our name.
Our tongue, it tastes the sweet and sour,
But also the times we have the power,
Let's not deny our taste buds pleasure,
Let's enjoy the food, the taste, the treasure.
Our nose, it smells both good and bad,
But also the times when we're sad,
Let's not hide from the scents we find,
Let's breathe them in and ease our mind.
We are human, unapologetically,
With all our senses, so perfectly,
Embrace your flaws, your uniqueness too,
For you are enough, and that's so true.
