We’re all tired.
Overworked and underpaid.
Under appreciated, feeling enslaved.
Life’s not that bad
But why does it feel like, it is?
Is it cause of the school shootings,
And dead kids?
Regardless of your reason,
There’s a test in every season,
And most of us…
Are just,
One bad day away,
From going insane,
Or homeless.
Life’s not a game,
But why do we treat it like one?
Like a challenge, that’s meant to be won?
Instead of an experience,
We’re meant to enjoy,
We throw away human lives,
Like we trashin,
Old toys.
By the time you care,
It’ll be too late.
The world’s been consumed,
By fear and hate.
