Ugly Sweater

I love you like I love my sweater

It’s impossibly ugly this sweater

But I wear it each week, no matter the weather

If I wait for the weather to get better

I’ll run out of time to wear this ugly old sweater

It may be falling apart but I love it it like on old letter

I wear this sweater while I write love letters

So now it reminds me of you

An ugly sweater becomes a symbol that is unique in this poem. Great creative thought here Thomas!

Now that's some peak cozy, sentimental energy! An ugly sweater that’s ugly in the best way—full of love, memories, and probably a few loose threads
