Two Shadows in the Light

one night a moon walked into its own shadow

however, its walk was more of a float in the sky

it was a walk in the man's eye who looked up and saw the moon floating

you see

as he walked in the light of one dark night he talked to the moon

the moon asked, "are you a shadow too?

the moon thought it was a shadow

in the man's vision of reality in that moment he replied,

“Moon, you are more of a light or even a ghost

guiding him home than a shadow in my mind.”

the moon cried, "oops"

for he realized he was talking to the man walking in the light of his "shadow ID"

the man arrived home by the time he could be ready for his dark night to be over and fell hard onto his bed

...when he woke up to walk in the day...

the sun had a different story to tell...
