Perfect silence

[S]ilence is the sound of your heart against mine,

[I]nsatiable seduction as our hearts intertwine.

[L]ove is in the silence, screaming of the things you need not say,

[E]xtracting the fear from the dangerous game we play.

[N]ever have I known a silent heartbeat to scream so loud,

[C]ommanding control of all that makes sense, to create something wild and profound.

[E]vanescent is the sound that our two hearts seem to make. Yet, the echoes in the empty silence our hearts will never forsake.

About the Creator

Jollyoddbod Poetry

Here I am, and here I'll stay;

Like the moon in the darkness that refuses to fade.

Clouds will cover, but cannot take from my reign;

Mark this as the moment that they realise, as they scoff with distain.

They fell asleep, I cannot be blamed.
