Two Conductors

🎶🍸

By Rowan Finley Published about a year ago 1 min read
Photo taken by cottonbro studio

They moved with flowing, graceful limbs.

One conducting orders behind a bar counter,

the other conducting an orchestra.

They both observed earnestly.

One tended and mixed drinks,

one tended musicians, mixing harmonies.

At the end of the night,

when the bar was closed and the orchestra had finished and left,

they tended one another with their growing love.

She was a bartender.

He was a conductor.

They both took a bow, admiring their finished work,

and met in the middle of the street.

The night mist kissed their precious foreheads,

as they embraced and embarked on their long walk to their little studio apartment home.

Interesting perspective 🤔 One group seeking courage, joy through drinks. One group giving courage, joy through music.
