Well-wrought! Do we only separate to rejoice in uniting? Not my original sentiment, mind you, but a question which always arises in the advent of both love and heartbreak, and spurred in my mind by your love-ly poem here!
These are two nice lines: "My flesh and your soul ignited as one Gently, you tended the flame that was started" Like starting a fire and putting wood in it to keep it going.
