Twisted love

Minor poetry

By Samantha BoahenPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The most hurtful thing is loving when there’s no love given

It’s like reaching out for the sun for light and all you do is get burned

But who is really concerned ?

About the heart shaking words that breaks bones

Or the language that is as tough as stones

The bitterness that lies between you and I

Collapses that what we once had leaving no tears to cry

My heart was intertwined in a love maze

And that explains why all i did was delay

Delay my efforts of become a beautiful flower

Instead I was entangled and my leaves fell by the hour

You see love is supposed to be good

But I stood here making it misunderstood

But until I learn the true

I was be suffocating, always turning

heartbreak
