Twinkly Stars Shine Down
Twinkly stars shine down on ancient stone,
where pyramids hold the breath of time.
Morning lifts the dark with steady hands,
and history waits in a single line.
Twinkly stars shine down as the sun appears,
balanced where the world feels small.
A glowing ring crowns the rising light,
as centuries answer a silent call.
Twinkly stars shine down on shifting sand,
each grain remembers every foot.
Empires passed and names were lost,
yet still the stones stand resolute.
Twinkly stars shine down on wondering eyes,
drawn to the centre of the flame.
Faith and science share the sky,
neither asking for a name.
Twinkly stars shine down on measured hearts,
aware of how brief we are.
The sky reminds us without words,
we live between dust and star.
Twinkly stars shine down on quiet awe,
where time bends but does not break.
The sun climbs free of the ancient line,
leaving wonder in its wake.
Twinkly stars shine down though daylight grows,
their promise still held in view.
Even when the sky turns clear and plain,
the moment remains true.
Twinkly stars shine down long after sight,
etched deeper than the eye can see.
Some mornings stay with us forever,
teaching what it means to be.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
