The doppelganger of my heart is roaming free,
The metal of her marrow
gleams rose golden
with a love of sweet spring peonies.
Her broken pieces
she has painstakingly carved
into faceted prisms
reflecting rainbows from pain
in victorious iridescent light.
Her love,
once bestowed,
envelopes you, like a blanket,
soft and warm,
all the cozy comforts of home.
If you see her,
please send her back to me.
She left me with only my shadow
and an empty reflection
I cannot finish this puzzle
they call life
without my missing piece.
