A spark ignites the thrill a new,
as stark sprites all fill the view.
The embers blink, they’re fireflies,
see cinders, sleek and fair as lights.
Woe, the pyre’s fleeting life,
foe of fires, the ticking strife.
Eroded, blazed, such sunshine ray,
corroded, crazed, unsigned one day.
The soot remains, it paints the past,
the root of remnants, lands into dust.
And ash is settled into place,
Another farce, another case!
