No matter how hard I try,

I can't seem to do things right.

I just want to give up on everything,

And end this useless fight.

I love too much...don't support enough,

I'm stuck not knowing what to do.

Can't ever win, how do I get through to him,

So things won't be so tough.

Lives have been torn.

Hearts have been broken.

Worry torments the soul.

Harsh words have been spoken.

How do you love less

To not smother or press?

How do you stop caring so much

To not lose your true love?

Can't ever do things right.

Why do I even try?

Makes me want to give up

And just turn out the light.
