Tumbled Aventurine

circa 94'-

By Jericho Rose Published 5 years ago 1 min read

Born between kind of blue and collard greens,

John Coltraned to distant lovers I was blessed to be born in a world surrounded by love.

Tastings of sweet southern iced tea, the smell of fields of clover and a hint of tabasco.

Brought to you live from Hammonasset beach, traveled sound waves to the fathers who sent panic to villages similar to those whom pillaged

I have taken the initiative to see, to act, and to be.

Me.

The course was never short of rugged, played on concrete jungles they dangled in front of us but my third eye remains clear .

Previews from the heart, aligned the lines of my mind, look no further I am your superhero.

Groomed and primed with a tongue that enables me to be apart of your world and mines.

And at the age of 27 my time often travels to worldly dimensions I’m not sure I have ever recovered.

Thoughts with many words that encyclopedias can not follow I try not to be swallowed to show you exactly me or how to be, or who to be, you?

free. Unapologetically me.

Even when burned by painin life lessons untamed I can still see ...

willow trees of green, red roses too

Auras Blue, my favorite hue

And I think to myself, I’ve created a wonderful world.
