THE HEART

Nothing

Can be better

Than knowing one’s own heart

It lines the floors where wonder lives

Fulfilled.

PLEAS

Small bird

You bring me joy

I celebrate you now

Please stay with me, my heart to fill

Don’t go.

GROWTH

Christmas

Always never

A happy time but still

I grew to love it in myself

At last.

JOY

The girl

So gently held

The tiny bird she found

Stay true, my love for now you know

Life’s joy.

MY DOG

There now

There goes the ball

Can you bring it to me

He runs, then comes, so happy he

We laugh.
