Trust is a powerful thing

but also fragile

It can be broken and strangled

Not always by our own design - but sometimes

-

Should I trust?

Even when its hard

Even when I’m scared

Even when I’m full of doubt

-

Maybe I can build higher walls

Or run away to the caverns in my mind

I can try holding the leftover pieces of my shattered trust tighter

-

Or… maybe I can just be still

With Love and Care

And let trust come like falling summer rain

To water

To grow

And replenish the places drained by unease and uncertainty

Oof, this one's tender and thoughtful! It’s wild how trust feels like both a risk and a rescue, isn’t it? ✨
