Drives me towards you.

Almost makes me happy

to be so confused.

I know I'm more than a friend

But not quite a lover.

Know this is more

than a basic,

physical desire.

Yet all the while, I'm hesitant.

As if searching for the perfect moment.

Don't even know if there is such a thing.

Blinded by the pain of lovers past.

Forgotten memories surface, at last.

Can't seem to understand these feelings..."

It's my only explanation

for my slight exaggeration

But you must have expected

some kind of reaction.

Can't spend my time looking away

I can see your inner beauty.

and forget about doubt...
