True Wisdom is Gained by Experiencing the Opposite
My Pain Brought the Light
All the tears shed while lying on the ground, from so many years lost back to myself I have found.
The beauty in my laughter that was scared to have a voice, the light in my step that feared navigating the void.
The twinkle in my eyes that were afraid to look up,The beat of my heart that was shattered by love.
The pressure of embrace that would flinch when touched, the happiness of my soul that went through so much.
The easy-going nature projected anger and hate, the rise of my spirit shot down by fate.
The clarity of my mind that had little joy, my safe inner child who used to be destroyed.
The strength I now have where weakness once enslaved, was built by its opposite and forged through its rage.
For nothing is handed without a lesson you will gain, for even the sun endures the darkness of the rain.
