True Peace

What is true peace? True peace is

The light in

A dark place.

It’s the inner feeling of being unchained

And alive.

Being away from the troubles of the world

And being alone but not lonesome.

It’s the warmth that I hope people

Feel when they rise

To the sky.

It’s an emotion that will only be experienced if

You look for it.

Look deep inside yourself and try.

It’s like the feeling of fishing

Alone in utter silence.

Watching the water ripple in front of

You.

True peace is what we all long for

But rarely completely

Receive.

True peace is what I have yet to experience.
