True Friends

Friendship is something very important you see,

It is something that I cherish, quite immensely,

In this life, I have lost most of my family,

This is why I take friendship so seriously,

We never know, on what day this life may end,

If your lucky, and blessed, you will find one true friend,

Their honor and safety, you should always defend,

You should never fake kindness, or with emotions, pretend,

This life is not easy, some days will be hard,

A friend will protect you, and when your weak, that friend will stand guard,

They do not cut communication, or play the silent game card,

If a true friend you do have, do not let them go,

Be a source of support, so that way, you both may grow,

A friend is someone from which wisdom you can gain,

True friends are for life, and life they help sustain,

Ignoring one another causes deep emotional pain,

If you have a true friend, don't let communication wane,

Doing so may make it so that friend you can't regain,

Always try to see the world, through the eyes of others,

This creates a tight knit bond, like that existing between two brothers.
