True Friend

If I were to write a poem about true friendship ...

I think the luckiest people are

The one who find true friends;

I think the perfect friendship is

The one that never ends.

I love to see friends trust another

With secrets that they hide;

I love it when one supports the other

Always by their side.

It joys me when I get to know

They're happy for each other;

It joys me when it clearly shows

They care just like a mother.

I'm glad to see friends helping

Each other in every stage;

I'm glad to see them grow together

Both on the same page.

I smile when one's not jealous

Of their friend's major success;

I smile when one compensates

For the other's getting less.

Seeing friends laugh together

Really brightens my day;

Seeing them going out togther

Washes my worries away.

If one is worried when the other's sick

I know that they're sincere;

If they spend quality time together

Their friendship's pure and clear.

When they enjoy each other's company

They're the best of perfect friends;

When they're childhood friends of many years

I hope it never ends!

Friendship
