True Colors

Pride

Wha color are you;

Rainbow, pink, blue and purple,

Or are you just blue?

Our color does not define us,

Yet some judge us for it,

Our spirits constantly crushed.

Some of us are accepted,

Others are tossed to the curb,

Our love intercepted.

Love is love,

Yet people remain ignorant,

We throw a ball and it misses the glove.

In anger, our face turns red.

If we get a bad spray tan, orange.

If we faint, yellow.

If we become ill, green.

If we are sad, so sad, blue.

We all experience these colors,

We are all unique,

Yet some focus on our differences.

No matter your color,

Be proud of who you are.
