Evergreen that is what that smile says to me Standing tall indifferent to snow and rain Withered body still your smile shows no plea a sunflower in bloom you hold no pain
Are you the forest thick with resilience? Depression planes brought war and fear around Through this fear fog Your smile knew no silence you were a redwood your limit knew no bound
A paradise heart your love blooms outward Middlemist red a rarity unknown Your gaze never backward only forward Stoic warmth While Others frozen as stone
Grandmother flowering in a wasteland Your blooms in the dessert defying sand
Teenage whispers
like days they play an ever-steady game , not sure if anything other than themselves will ever be the same so they wander and they have fun never wanting to know the damage being done because they were free spirits raised in the summer sun like dandelions in the ghettos of the world there time would soon come
