Im a tree huggin freak im huggin a tree
Would It be great if the world learned from me
Theyre livin too fast to look around
While another rainforest falls and hits the ground
Older than our oldest and all the more wise
Fallin to their death and their wisdom all dies
What can we do? The damage is done
Is what a failure of a father passes down to his son
Thats why we’re here why we sing like we do
With an earth born hope that we somehow get through
To a boy or a girl, someone who’s strong
Lookin out for earth, makin right all our wrong
Learnin from the past for the future ahead
Strikin with their hunger from the lies that theyre fed
We’re no more better than the love that we give
We’re settling an example with the lives that we live
Im an earth lovin fresk cuz she’s lovin me
I love the mountains and the sky like im lovin the sea
Everythings the same when you see like i see
But words are mistaken and they’ll never be me
Im a sun lovin geek, i bask in its rays
It brightens up my skin as it lightens my day
Sun’s mother earth loves it light just like me
Just take a look at the flowers on a plant or a tree
We’re no more better than the love that we give
We’re setting an example with the lives that we live
