Trauma love
—an understanding of uncertainty in uncommon circumstances
By Melissa IngoldsbyPublished 3 years ago • Updated 3 years ago • 1 min read
you need me to unchain us, I’ll break the glass and texture our dreams
Like safe houses
Not wanting to have walls
I just want you
I just want you
I never thought I wanted anyone
But here I am by your side
You make me so happy
You light up my eyes
You heal the cracks inside,
I know you have so much trauma
You saw me when I died
But here I am
I will sink with you in the dark
Until morning
We will live in our hearts, in mourning
And unconditional, uncommon,
We won’t let a time locked wall of terror knock any of us down,
We build each other up
We are each other’s safe house and we are still working even in these uncertain
Uncommon
Circumstances.
