Everyday is a struggle
Another catastrophe, another hurdle
But should I surrender?
To nature's forces? To the negative voices?
A cacophony of nauseating clutter
That’s what life is. I need a shutter.
To block the sound, and the clouding welter.
Such fritters
People running left and right,
Trying to grasp the fleeting time
Feeling their lives frittered and tattered
What will they think when they’re old and battered?
Such struggle, is it worth it?
The sweat, the tears, and the years. Was it worth it?
We chase the grandeur of life, but we forget
We never truly enjoy it, nor truly get
The happiness of life, and the truly bliss
Happiness comes from within,
Within our souls, within our core.
Be happy with what you are,
Be happy with what you do.
Because somewhere out there,
There're people just like you.
Fighting, and brawling through life
Some will succeed and shine brighter,
While others will fade into the good night.
So which one will you be?
A fighter, or a scraper?
The strong, or the fragile?
The believer in better, or the pessimistic and meager?
So in the end, be you.
Be a believer, and become a better you.
Go and explore what the world is offering,
Because the world out there will not be buffering.
