Rage, so abundant, so formidable, so relentless
Uncaring, indiscriminate
Quick to trigger, gathering speed
Seeking a target, finding an enemy
Spewing forth wave after wave
of unfiltered fury
Feeling strengthened, emboldened
as the fire within me ingests
every discrimination and every disrespect
every lie and every truth
every apathy and every contempt
every act of condescension
every act of abandonment
Remembering every memory and perception
of these acts being thrust upon me
Lashing out at those closest to me
The easiest of targets
and most vulnerable to my venom
Wrath comes boiling to the surface
like lava ejaculating from a volcano
Scorched earth and collateral damage
A barren landscape left in its wake
