A mind, a garden, overgrown with weeds,

Of toxic thoughts, insidious, mean deeds.

They creep and crawl, a venomous vine,

Choking out reason, peace of mind.

A poison ivy, touching every part,

Leaving scars upon the wounded heart.

They whisper lies, distort the truth,

A heavy burden, a bitter youth.

But hope, a seed, can take root and grow,

If nurtured well, it can overthrow

The toxic weeds, and let the sunlight in,

To heal the wounds, and make life begin.

Absolute love this, and the way you've turned the mind into a garden. Beautiful.
