Toxic People

You do not need them in your life

Toxic People

They wear a smile, but it feels untrue,

A web of whispers, aimed at you.

Their words are sugar, their hearts are stone,

Leaving you weary, chilled to the bone.

They take your light, they dim your flame,

Point the finger, but shift the blame.

Their presence drains, like a heavy tide,

Pulling you under, where shadows hide.

But you are strong, you have the will,

To break their hold, to climb the hill.

Cut the cord, let yourself soar,

Toxic chains can bind no more.

Seek the ones who build you high,

Who see your worth, who never lie.

For life’s too short to waste your grace,

On those who darken your sacred space.

This one packs a punch! It’s like a reminder to shake off those energy vampires. Love how it ends on such a freeing note!✨
