My fingers trace
unspoken words
a book in braille
a Tibetan prayer wheel
so many etchings on a wall
that speaks of truth
and beauty
without sound.
Feeling with the tips
of my fingers
what I cannot see.
What I will never hear.
Songs on the wind that
I feel with my face
as lyrics whoosh by
in gusts of melodies
unheard -
But music can be felt!
The vibrations that
speak to me in ways
no one else can.
The sun whispers secrets
I will never hear - but
I feel the warmth enough
to know it's a nice day
outside, in a silent
world vibing only for
those of us in tune
to the cosmic truth
written and composed
for the blind and deaf,
the special ones
who can touch the truth.
