Touch of night
Darkness of night,
Hold me tight,
Draw me into your arms!
***
Satin and song,
Sooth the forlorn,
Bring us into your charms
***
Silence the town,
Do make them drown,
Deep in those nightmares!
***
For the justice you bring,
Oft does us a thing,
And destroys the rays of despair
***
However small this favour,
It still defeats the clamour,
And brings the peace; that I so crave!
***
For the fights!
The wounds!
The pain!
All dies away, with the fading of day.
***

Encouraging poem. I love the image used as well. Question: How do you get the format when using writer's note?
Very empowering, Cyrus
