TOTALITY OF THOUGHT

Within the innermost areas of space
where life exists as a spark,
waiting for the moment of creation
surrounded by an ocean of dark.
Nothing can be seen but emptiness
devoid of light or shadows,
which otherwise would be cast
by a sun that brightly glows.

Upon worlds not yet in existence
needing reason to be created,
formless within the endless void
as an idea which is understated.
Never seen in the dark of night
when there is no sun visible,
nor sky upon which to ponder
wondering what might be possible.

Consider the endless possibilities
given life should find a way,
and break through the darkness
to bring forth a brand new day.
Filling the void with new wonders
though still filled by emptiness,
without neither flora or fauna
which nature uses to express.

In a creation of color and beauty
life erupts from bleak landscape,
to spread forth across the terrain
in every conceivable shape.
Where naught is found any greed
nor need to feel despair,
only a sense of well-being inside
and outside in the open air.

Where skies above are azure blue
and trees grow straight and tall,
whatever might be wanted or desired
is just waiting for you to call.
Open your mind and perception
to wonders unseen before today,
and no longer will you feel alone
even when skies above are gray.
