To enthuse and incite

Words hands-in-glove
Free verse or prose
No real difference in those
Just bipolar contrivers

How hard can a haiku be
With the fewest words like you lazy
A senryu is just as cheesy
Just change the It to I--so easy
No one's the wiser

Oh to be "new, handpicked stories you’ll love,"
"Updated daily" from the panel above
They get the reads, the comments, and likes
That push up your stats with the bumps and the spikes
And make you a star, a name, and a riser
***
Oh, to be in the "creators we’re loving"
Who can tell onomatopoeia from that of mere buzzing
I want to be someone you will want to "meet"
"One of people in your communities" elite
A noteworthy new line driver
***
"Creating extraordinary things" are those pointed out
And what the Bonus Leaderboard's really about
And to have my ears ringing in Vocal Creator Chat
Is realy the place I want to be at
And connect and discuss with Vocal beehivers

Unveiled as a Winner of the 2023
Vocal Writing Awards is just the thing for me
Challenge after Challenge, win some in a row
Will really, each Challenge, bring in the dough
Says my financial adviser

When they read this — I really can't wait
To see if they fall for it and take the bait
Put it up there with the Top Stories
Even put it in different categories
I'll know I've arrived

I want to come with firsts, seconds, even thirds
And pad with the fluff to reach 600 words
I want fame, and hearts, and the big bucks like all
Those Babs, L.C.s, Mathews, and Paul
Those can't-miss word-derivers

The Novels, Zanas, Rachels, and Heathers,
Who garner the praise from Dharrsheenas and Holmes' whenever
The choices are picked and they are worthily served it
It turns out they all just really deserve it!
