Too Late to Save My Soul
The night found me before the dawn
its hands colder than I remembered
pulling me into corners of myself
I had left locked for years
The things I had done walked beside me
their shapes too clear in the dark
each one whispering the same truth
you have run out of roads
I thought there would be a moment
a last turning before the drop
a chance to speak or beg or fight
but silence came first and stayed
Now I move where the air is thin
where prayers sink instead of rise
and the only light is far behind
in a place I can no longer reach

A thought provoking poem. Good job.
Sometimes the darkest nights teach us the brightest lessons, even if the dawn feels out of reach for a while. ✨
Wow, that's deeply sad. Great poem.
