Tomorrow

Don’t wait for the sunrise.

By Jay WilsonPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

I’ll do it tomorrow

I say with a sigh

It can wait

But it’s all a lie

The sun slowly sets

A day is over

Tomorrow I will

Hush now be still

Tomorrow then dawns

It’s a bright new day

Time to now do

All the things I did say

I’ll do it tomorrow

I’m too tired today

I have my excuses

Along with my sorrow

I now only see

That tomorrow is never

I now know

It’s up to me

That small simple task

Is over so soon

Now it’s all done

Is that too much to ask
