Toileting in Nature
Blooming here on my new loo,
the wind hums soft through the trees,
a bird sings like it knows my secret,
and I laugh at the freedom of it all.
No walls, no echoes, no rush,
just me and the world in quiet truth,
a gentle peace where I least expect,
a throne of grass and honest sky.
The stream beside me keeps my rhythm,
its murmur feels like friendly talk,
the leaves applaud my bravery,
and even the sun seems to smile.
I breathe the scent of rain and earth,
and think how simple joy can be,
no tiled floor, no plastic seat,
just nature holding space for me.
It’s funny what feels pure and grand,
this silly calm, this silly scene,
but somehow I feel more human here,
just blooming free, my soul washed clean.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
