Togetherness

I used to think life was a deep hole;

Embodied by happiness,

Enjoyed in sorrow.

Carried by shame,

But blessed and mellow.

I used to loved that earth was our home;

Justified by means and enriched with hopes.

Characterized by nature

Enhanced by growth.

I always believed we are meant to live together;

To be carried with both hands and shoulders.

To live for,

Without minding the ghetto we grew at.

I still believe it has to be us;

To build a safe world and home to grow us

To solve our problems both home and abroad

And enjoy a peaceful world in one accord.
