Can we stay together
forever and a day?
You are the only woman
I ever need
I know I have
so very much to repay
Maybe someday
your trust I'll regain
Can we stay together
forever and a day?
Grow old and more,
but never apart
Knowing each other
in the deepest way
Never again will I
ever let myself stray
Can we stay together
forever and a day?
Move on from the past
with each other we'll stay?
Can we stay together
forever and a day?

I liked this Paul! The repetitive language was hypnotic and really helped bring forth that feeling of longing as the narrator begging his lover not to leave him. Beautifully written!
This is mesmerizing and completely sweet! I love every word and the sentiment throughout, Paul. 👏👏👏💗
Oh I love love love this 🥰 The flow and rhyme is spot on…. I was smiling from my heart from the first “forever and a day”. This is going into the TS nominations 🥰

With such admiring respect and abject apologies, I should hope together and a day is reachable.
